EPQ session this week

This week for our EPQ we had a presentation in the lecture theatre about the presentation that we have to do at the end of the process.

This presentation included advice of things that we should and should not do, for example we should not just fill the slides with text and read everything off of here. It would be more effective and enjoyable for the audience if we put short bullet points of the things that we will be mentioning. We must also be careful of the kinds of text fonts and colours used.

I will also have to consider if there are any terms that I would normally use to explain things however the audience may not be familiar with these so I should give an explanation or use other terms that they will understand.

We were also reminded of the success criteria for the presentation. I found this very helpful as having been reminded of what I will need to include and the sorts of things that I must be talking about.
